Prerequisites
CCNA required. Students must have a strong understanding of networking fundamentals and basic switch operation. This includes a fundamental understanding of the Spanning Tree protocol and L2 forwarding fundamentals. Students must also have solid understanding of basic routing functions such as Layer 3 forwarding mechanisms and routing protocols. All students should basic configuration knowledge of the Cisco IOS and familiarity with the CatOS. Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices (ICND) or equivalent knowledge is required. Building Cisco Multilayer Switched Networks (BCMSN) is also highly recommended.
