The Cisco® PowerVu Network Centre Control (PNC) Server Essentials Training version 2.1 instructor-led course offered by High-Touch Delivery Learning Services teaches students how to operate and configure the Cisco PowerVu Network Centre Control (PNC) Server and use several optional features. This course will teach you how to use the PNC interface; view and configure devices through the PNC, including encoder and MetroMux streams; search for and view decoders; view and configure virtual channels and events; view uplink parameters; monitor transactions and diagnostics; monitor and configure alarms; perform a manual device failover; and perform basic server administrative tasks. The following optional PowerVu features are introduced: Live Event Controller (LEC), Simulcrypt, and Digital Program Insertion (DPI).
