MIB LOCATOR Help
The MIB (Management Information Base) Locator is a web-based application that allows users to browse an automated database of MIBs data by Release, Platform and Feature Set.
Three ways to look up MIB data:
  • Select a major release, maintenance release, platform and feature set you will be presented with the MIB files within that particular image.
  • Enter a specific Image files name.
  • Search for MIB (For multiple selections use CTRL key).

What is a MIB?
MIBs are Management Information Base data files within the Cisco software. They give users information in order to identify device functionality data and network efficiency such as down links or other statistics.

What if I can't find a platform or feature that I am looking for?
If your platform or feature set does not appear in the drop down listings we currently do not have a list of MIBs for that Cisco IOS image.

What releases are currently supported in the MIB Locator?
MIB Locator currently supports the following Cisco IOS releases:
11.2, 11.2P, 11.3, 11.3T, 12.0, 12.0S, 12.0ST, 12.0T, 12.1, 12.1E, 12.1T, 12.2, 12.2T.

Once you have selected your platform and other release criteria, you will be presented with a list of MIBs V1 & V2.
