This article provides an overview of Net Impact: Public Sector—Portugal (Net Impact Portugal), a study based on the same framework as the European study conducted in 2004.The results are based upon data from local, regional and national government offices, as well as public healthcare providers. To qualify for participation in the study, an organisation had to be considered a ‘connected organisation,’ defined as having one or more active enterprise business applications distributed throughout its network.
