Q: How to effectively open a case with the Cisco Partner Relationship Team (PRT)?
A:
- Before you open a case, please capture the screenshot of the error message/problem that you are experiencing in the application.
- Go to www.cisco.com/go/prt.
- Click on "Create Case" tab.
- Log in using your Cisco.com ID.
- Choose the Application in which you are experiencing the problem
- Select the Problem Type that is closely related to the issue.
- Enter the brief description of the problem in the Case Title.
- In the Description, provide details about the issue. If you are getting error please provide the "Error message". If you can not provide the screenshot of the error then provide the screen name and data where you are experiencing the problem.
- If you are a Partner and you want a CAM to be copied on emails related to the case then enter "Please copy my CAM on all emails related to this case" in the Description.
- Click "Submit"
- You will get a screen with a button "Add Attachment", Please make sure the attachment file in not more than 2MB.
- Click on "Add Attachment"
- Click on "Browse" this will Open another screen and allow you to select file from your computer.
- Select the Screenshot file which you have captured in Step 1.
- Click "Submit"
- You will receive an email with confirmation that a case is created along with the Case number.
