Today, we need our workspace to move with us. From BYOD environments to shared workstations, we want flexibility and productivity on any device. Join us on this complimentary seminar and learn how Cisco solutions such as Virtualization Experience Infrastructure (VXI), Webex Social and Jabber can help IT teams improve service delivery, enable employees to quickly connect with the people and resources they need to get work done and give them the freedom to be productive from anywhere, on any device.

The event will include a series of interactive sessions to see the new innovations and services from Cisco:

  • 11.00 Welcome and overview
  • 11.10 WebEx Social: With the release of WebEX Social, customers can provide their teams with a comprehensive collaboration environment encompassing all appropriate tools to ensure ad-hoc and project based interaction (IM, video, telephone, document sharing, calendaring, workspaces etc). We will be talking through the architecture of the new WebEx offerings and giving a comprehensive demo of the new Social platform.
  • 11.30 Jabber: Jabber is now available on multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, iPad, iPhone, Android etc), providing a common and seamless interface to IM, telephone, video and file sharing. With the proliferation of devices, security of data is paramount and with Cisco's BYOD philosophy, this security concern is decreased as we make it easier to have personal and business devices securely connected to the corporate network. We will take the audience through the architecture and principles of Jabber and BYOD and then demo Jabber on multiple devices.
  • 11.50 VXI: People have been talking about Virtualisation for many years but technological limitations of sharing rich-media have been the limiting factor in many organisations rolling out virtualised desktops. With Cisco's VXI it is now possible to have voice and video on virtualised desktops without providing a huge burden on the network and this limit the latency issues that many virtualised implementations experience. We will cover the architecture of the VXI offerings and provide demos of the latest implementations of Cisco's virtual desktop
