GCA’s Cisco Data Center Deployment

The data center lies at the heart of GCA’s transaction-based business. This year GCA embarked on an initiative to completely upgrade its data center operations to a state-of-the-art, virtualized environment – in a new physical location. The company chose to partner with Cisco, VMware, and EMC to deploy its new data center environment and infrastructure. Key components in the move included Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) blade servers and Nexus 7000 Series switches.
