(Original Webcast October 27, 2011, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time)

Join an open discussion with Jim King, Vice President of Information Technology for Global Cash Access, as he shares his experience building a data center with Cisco UCS and Cisco Nexus. Mr. King will explain how the migration to a Cisco virtualized data center environment helps his company increase service levels to its wide portfolio of gaming customers. Those customers, in turn, distribute billions of dollars to casino guests worldwide. This interactive event features a live Q&A during which Mr. King will answer your questions about his experience with Cisco.

About Global Cash Access (GCA)

Global Cash Access (GCA) services 1,100 gaming establishments worldwide, including all of the largest gaming companies in the United States. With operations in North America, Latin America, Europe, the United Kingdom, and Asia, GCA processed more than 102 million transactions and dispensed more than $24 billion in 2009 alone.

GCA’s Cisco Data Center Deployment

The data center lies at the heart of GCA’s transaction-based business. This year GCA embarked on an initiative to completely upgrade its data center operations to a state-of-the-art, virtualized environment – in a new physical location. The company chose to partner with Cisco, VMware, and EMC to deploy its new data center environment and infrastructure. Key components in the move included Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) blade servers and Nexus 7000 Series switches.

Please join us for Mr. King’s live interview and Q&A that follows. There will be a limited number of openings, so please sign up early to participate.
