BGP is a routing technology which is part of the intrinsic DNA of each Service Provider, and many Enterprise networks. For that reason it is important to understand all the potential threats that can be seen regarding routing, so that the routing infrastructure can best be secured. This session analyzes many threats and explores solutions where possible. The main focus will be on how to best secure the BGP infrastructure, however a few other routing elements will be also discussed.
