When you troubleshoot Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) C-Series server boot issues, one place to start is the /var/log/messages and Onboard Failure Logging (OBFL) logs. These logs are located in the tech support files.

The Cisco Integrated Management Controller (CIMC) is the management service for the UCS C-Series server. CIMC runs within the server.
