Description
 

Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS), which is part of Microsoft Windows, provides security and domain authentication and Active Directory processes.  LSASS contains a buffer overrun vulnerability that could allow an attacker to acquire SYSTEM privileges and gain control over the vulnerable system.

Administrators are advised to apply the appropriate update.
