Description
Cisco Cloud Portal contains a vulnerability that could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to access sensitive information.

The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user permissions by the affected software. An authenticated, remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by convincing a user to follow a crafted URL. If successful, the attacker may be able to view user information stored in the affected system. This information could be used to conduct further attacks.

Cisco has confirmed the vulnerability and software updates are available.
 
Warning Indicators
At the time this alert was first published, Cisco Cloud Portal versions 9.3.2 and prior were vulnerable. Later versions of Cisco Cloud Portal may also be affected.

Technical Information
The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user permissions by the nsAPI interface of the affected software.

An authenticated, remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by convincing a user to follow a crafted URL. If successful, the attacker may be able to view user information stored in the affected system.
 
Safeguards
Administrators are advised to apply the appropriate updates.

Users should verify that unsolicited links are safe to follow.

Administrators are advised to monitor affected systems.
