Description
 
Cisco Security Intelligence Operations has detected significant activity related to spam email messages that claim to contain a bank payment transfer notification for the recipient. The text in the email message attempts to convince the recipient to open the attachment and view the details. However, the .rar attachment contains a malicious .exe file that, when executed, attempts to infect the system with malicious code.

The Product Samples.exe file in the payment receipt.rar attachment has a file size of 630,784 bytes. The MD5 checksum, which is a unique identifier of the executable, is the following string: 0xE07E9DCD6445AF0CF654FD5DE5888870

Message Body:

Attention: Find the attached bank transfer receipt of $65,000 USD made yesterday on 3nd of October, as requested by our client. Please view the attached payment receipt copy and give back confirmation to our client as soon as possible. We hope to serve you better.
