The vulnerability is due to the presence of sensitive information in the CCMConfig page. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by accessing the CCMConfig page. An exploit could allow the attacker to access sensitive information.
Cisco has confirmed the vulnerability in a security notice; however, software updates are not available.
At the time this alert was first published, Cisco Unified CCX version 10.0(1) is vulnerable. Later releases of Cisco Unified CCX may also be vulnerable.
To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker must authenticate to a targeted device. This access requirement decreases the possibility of a successful exploit.
