A vulnerability in Adobe Flash Player could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on a targeted system.
The vulnerability is due to improper memory operations performed by the affected software. An unauthenticated, remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by convincing a user to visit a malicious web page that contains crafted Flash content. If successful, the attacker could execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the user. If the user holds elevated privileges, a successful exploit could result in a complete system compromise.
Functional code that exploits this vulnerability is available as part of the Metasploit framework.
Adobe has confirmed this vulnerability and software updates are available.

The vulnerability is due to a use-after-free condition that could exist in the ActionScript 3 opaqueBackground class used by the affected software. Exploitation could allow an attacker to manipulate memory, causing memory corruption that the attacker could use to execute arbitrary code.
An unauthenticated, remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by convincing a user to visit a malicious web page that contains crafted Flash content. If successful, the attacker could execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the user. If the user holds elevated privileges, a successful exploit could result in a complete system compromise.
To exploit the vulnerability, the attacker may provide the user with a link to a malicious web page or a file containing crafted Flash content intended to submit malicious input to the affected software and use misleading language or instructions to persuade the user to follow the link or open the file.
Administrators are advised to apply the appropriate updates.
Administrators are advised to allow only trusted users to have network access.
Users are advised not to open email messages from suspicious or unrecognized sources. If users cannot verify that links or attachments included in email messages are safe, they are advised not to open them.
Administrators are advised to monitor affected systems.
