Description

This signature triggers when multiple TCP sessions have been improperly initiated against a TCP port. This is indicative that a denial of service attack against your network may be in progress.The signature alerts on 5000 (configurable) embryonic connections to a service.This signature will function in both promiscuous and in-line modes.
