This signature fires upon detecting the Select-From SQL query embedded in an HTTP request. The alert should be considered as an indicator that an SQL query was seen in the traffic and not necessarily an attack.
There are no suggested filters.
Scripts pushing encoded text containing the words "select" and "from" to a web server may cause this signature to trigger and alert. Yahoo Mail/Facebook traffic also causes this signature to alert. This does not mean that an attack is underway, just that the SQL query was sent over HTTP.
